Student Life: Rec Sport- challenge program is currently at the Bronze level in the Sustainable Workplace program. The office uses at least 30% recycled content paper, turn off computers at night and have eliminated excess printers.
The Museum of Natural History earned their Bronze certificate by setting computers to the power saving mode, turning off equipment at the end of the work day, setting printers to default to duplex printing, reminding staff to avoid unnecessary printing, and expanding recycling areas to include the collection of batteries.
CoE: SSEL – EECS is a Bronze level certified Sustainable Workplace. The office saves excess hosting supplies for future meetings and events. Only half of the light banks in an office are used at one time. Misprints or printer error sheets are used for expense report receipt preparation.
Risk Management Services earned their bronze certification by setting all computers and printers to the energy-saving modes, having a strong commitment to recycling and reducing paper waste, and incorporating educational material into the workplace and operations.
