Students: Submit A Proposal for Up To $5,000
Successful Student-led Proposals May Lead to $50,000 in Grant Funds
Students across the University of Michigan are invited to propose an action-oriented project beyond the campus focusing on wide-ranging sustainability issues such as energy, water, communities, food, built environment, transportation, and other areas. Past projects supported by the Dow Distinguished Awards for Interdisciplinary Sustainability have helped communities around the world with safe drinking water, energy conservation, and transportation.
Interdisciplinary teams, with students from at least three different schools/colleges at UM-Ann Arbor will be awarded up to $5,000 to pursue a collaborative project at the local, national, or global level. Successful teams will clearly articulate a new and innovative concept, and describe compelling and practical efforts for societal benefits and sustainability impact beyond the U-M campus.
