Michigan Memorial Phoenix Energy Institute Director Dennis Assanis recently joined a panel of experts on Detroit Public Television to debate the energy challenges facing the state as well as future opportunities in Michigan for new technologies and renewable energy sources, including wind and solar power.
The discussion followed the PBS documentary “Beyond the Light Switch” (BTLS). It was the first in a series of televised round-table conversations produced by PBS stations around the country to explore the energy economy from state-specific perspectives,including the generation and consumption of electricity.
