Check out Common Cycle, a community bike collective being run by five U-M doctoral students, three U-M staff members (who are also U-M alum), and two community members!
Founded in February 2010, Common Cycle is a volunteer-based organization that empowers Ann Arbor to ride bicycles by providing access to related education, workspace, and resources.
Have a bike you'd like to use more often, but it could use a little maintenance to be road-worthy?
If so, come visit the Common Cycle's Mobile Repair Stand at Ann Arbor's Kerrytown Artisan Market on Sundays, August 15, August 22, and August 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The bike repair is being offered as part of an awareness and fundraising campaign for Common Cycle. Please click here for details.
One of the students involved in this project is Anika Fassia, L.L.M.S.W., who is involved in the Transportation Analysis Team for the U-M Campus Sustainability Integrated Assessment project.
